Just look at that happy girl!

We’re really starting to get the hang of Sadie’s diet of no wheat and no dairy now and there’s no going back. She hasn’t been sick since we eliminated both, which is a record. Her eczema that went unhealed since 6 months old is completely cured.

We’ve narrowed down some major food finds that she loves:

I’m going to be posting some of the GFWF recipes that we’ve been using, but in the meantime here’s what we’re having to eat this week:

  1. Pepperoni Quinoa Pasta
  2. Pinto Beans & GF Cornbread
  3. Black Bean Burgers, Sweet Potato Fries & Roasted Corn with Chili-Lime Butter
  4. Apple Arugula Quinoa Salad
  5. Roasted Chicken & Herb Potatoes

  1. Can’t wait to see some GFWF recipes! I too, am needing to go gluten and dairy free due to being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I am feeling so overwhelmed right now and have no idea where to start. Love all your ideas Jessie!

    • It can feel VERY overwhelming in the beginning! Just take it slow and you’ll get the hang of it in no time! Hopefully some future ideas/recipes I post will help you too. I can’t recommend the Cooking for Isaiah cookbook by Sylvania Nardone enough.
