I can hardly believe it, but Sadie is two years old today. It has been a whirlwind of abundant joy these past two years watching this little baby of ours grow into such a talkative, genuinely sweet, thoughtful little toddler. We really can’t imagine life without her.At this age, we have loved watching her concern for other people blossom, her love for her little brother and extended family, and her curiosity about God.
She is always happy, always spunky, always trying to learn, and always trying to make someone have a good laugh.
Below is a mini-interview I plan on doing with Sadie every year so we can document how much she has grown over the years in her own words:
Mommy asks her name: Sadie
How old are you? Two years.
What is your favorite color? That’s orange. It’s an alligator. (Pointing to her orange, alligator block).
Who is your best friend? Jordyn. Will is a friend. Daddy. Silas.
What is your favorite animal? Fishies….ummm….giraffes.
What is your favorite book? Green Eggs and Ham. (She hardly ever reads it). It’s really God Made You Special.
What makes you happy? A chocolate cookie.
What makes you sad? I love me.
What is your favorite food to eat? Pizza!!! Quito!!! (Taquito)
What is your favorite song to sing? No sing songs Mommy. (Even though the girl is obsessed with singing!)
