I took Jonah to an allergist twice this past week because the flare up after I had eaten a piece of real toast during the flu was just awful and I felt like it was time for some back up from a professional to get all this stuff I’m doing on paper. I figured before he starts eating solids, I want a good handle of what is going on.
His skin tests came back too inconclusive because we couldn’t test him on his back since it was too broken out to get a true reading. And holding a 4 month old’s arms down for a total of 40 minutes just doesn’t work. Sorry Jonah.
So this week, we’re moving forward with blood tests to diagnose. At least we finally got him cleared up and back to his happy self again and wheat is a thing of the past.
